Services for Mrs. Emma J. Valentine, 82, a former resident of Rochester, were held July 1 in Mt. Clemens with burial in Mount Avon Cemetery. Mrs. Valentine died June 30 in Martha Berry Memorial Hospital, Mt. Clemens, following a long illness and hospitalization since last January. She was the wife of the late George Valentine living with her family for 20 years at 152 Albertson Street in Rochester. They moved to Mt. Clemens in 1935. Her husband died in 1937 and their only son, Marion, died at the age of 12 in 1916.
